Team member Mia Sanders has been crushing it over her break… she just got back from a horse show in Temecula where she consistently rode great in hunter and equitation classes!! We are so proud of her and so excited to keep cheering her on the summer as she continues her show season❤️🖤

The Chapman Equestrian needs your support! Our team is only able to keep going through generous donations- no matter how big or small, each one counts! Riding at the collegiate level is an incredible way to display hard work, have fun doing a sport we love, and be competitive with other colleges in our zone. We are hoping to continue our team’s success for the rest of this year and in years to come, but we are in need outside support to do so. Our team had a blast at the the last IHSA show of the semester! Thank you for hosting, and well done to all the teams showing! We are so excited for what is to come next semester. Highlights include:

Faith DiMaria earning 4th in Open O/F, 1st & 6th in Open Flat, and Saturday High Point Rider
Caitlyn McCauley earning 6th & 3rd in Open Flat

Mia Sanders earning 2nd in every Intermediate O/F and flat, and tying for Saturday High Point Rider with Faith
Heidi Wakefield & Jimena Padilla riding beautifully in Intermediate O/F

Maci Marantette earning 3rd & 6th in Limit O/F, 1st in Limit Flat, and Sunday Reserve High Point Rider
Heidi Wakefield earning 5th in Limit Flat
Chloe Oldenbrook riding great in Limit O/F

Horse show weekend two was a great success! Chapman took High Point team on Sunday with only 4 girls competing! We are so proud of all of our riders. Some highlights include:

Faith DiMaria riding great in the open division!

Mia Sanders having a great Sunday in the intermediate division.

Chloe Oldenbrook winning the limit fences on Saturday and Macie Maranette winning the limit fences on Sunday.

Ava Brandt rode stellar, winning 1st and 2nd in the pre-novice.

Lorna Vu was AMAZING on Saturday for her first horseshow ever!

The teamwork this weekend was impeccable and we are so grateful for our coach, .seifert , for sharing her time in amazing horses with us. Thank you to everyone who made the weekend run smoothly!

The first introductory meeting will be this Wednesday, 9/8, at 10PM. This meeting is for any new team members who would like to join (or is thinking about it) and giving information about the upcoming show season. The location is in the athletics department, there will be team members standing outside to direct people which room to go to. We look forward to meeting new members, and seeing previous members again! 😇🥰😁
