LK Jon Blazt is not your everyday DJ or house music fanatic. His deep passions often lie beyond the normal realm of pop “anything” and he comes with a very high-tempo and energetic persona, yet highly calculative and analytical nature. This is generally reflected in his music preference and LIVE play style.

In 1994, URB Magazine noted this young “record breaking sucka” (dubbed by many promoters due to his high standard of perfection...and other things), and he was definitely someone to watch and hear live across the underground dance scene of the time. Jon’s fascination was not driven by music alone, but it’s tandem relationship with the need to dance. Dancing was the foundation of the early days of the rave and underground movement. To this day, dance remains a natural component of the human creature’s need to express themselves by way of sound wave and community.

LK Jon Blazt didn’t limit himself to the music industry. Over the years, he has been very very fortunate to grasp the nature of the mainstream hierarchy and pop-cultural way of existence. He has worked in big technology and even helped small innovators gain notability for work they did with NASA to pioneer interstellar travel.

Today, LK Jon Blazt is motivated by a calling of something so complex, that he’s abandoned the need to understand it...only to pursue it. For over 25 years, Jon’s range of experience has shaped him into the person he is today and it definitely translates with his ability to continue to select and find music that is innovative, yet drives the essence of the dance floor. Although a joker and light-hearted person, he is no showman while at work. His technique is delivered by ways of overcoming natural nervousness bootstrapped to the thrill of overcoming the need to be the focal point. From there, his interaction with the crowd seems more symbiotic than implicated. His passion is for us to dance. To keep you moving until the ship comes back around!
