💥💥💥Incredible weight loss journey with Amanda. Amanda did a lot more than just lose weight. She increased lean muscle mass, she became more confident, she became a person who kept her promises to herself and man did it pay off.

🚨🚨🚨 it doesn’t matter how you do it but if you’re trying to lose weight you need to be at a MODERATE CALORIE DEFICIT.

You can have 3 meals per day
You can do intermittent fasting and have 2 meals
You can eat low carb/ some keto

It literally doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you aren’t eating too little and you aren’t eating too much.

It’s as simple as that.

The easiest way to lose some weight and reduce some inflammation in your body:

✅Drink more water (minimum 64oz daily)
✅keep the foods you binge on OUT OF THE HOUSE
✅Eat more protein with every meal (aim for your body weight in pounds. 135 pound woman = 135 grams
✅Don’t waste Calories on drinks ANY drinks. Hydrate primarily with water, sodium water, hydrogen water
✅ keep snacking minimal “I’m a snacker” is the worst thing we hear. More time between meals for your body to digest is recommended.

Everyone (including me) says that they’ll die for their children BUT will you LIVE for them???

⭐️Will you exercise and build more lean muscle tissue so that you can lift and play with them?
⭐️Will you increase your cardiovascular health so that you can run after them?
⭐️Will you eat better foods to protect from disease so that you will be there to see all of their life events?

Not an easy thing to think about, but we need a nudge every once in awhile. Let’s do it. Let’s be better for our kids, our families, our spouse!

💥This happens frequently. If you’re the person in these examples it’s ok! BUT it’s time to change and take accountability ❤️

Say your calories are 1500 per day.
You need to be at a 3500 calorie deficit per week to lose 1 pound per week.

Most people will eat
Monday 1500 ✅
Tuesday 1500✅
Wednesday 1500✅
Thursday 1500✅
Friday 1800 1 extra protein bar ❌
Saturday 2400 free meal❌
Sunday 2400 snacks etc ❌

This puts you at a 1400 calorie deficit and your goal was 3500 to lose 1lb per week.

It feels like you ate so well because Monday - Thursday was perfect but the weekend causes us to back track.

You have to plan it out ahead of time and you can fit foods you like into your total calories for the day.

Do you feel the January pressure?

We’re about 3 weeks into the New Year.
You might notice a barrage of content reminding you to act now and crush your goals to avoid being mediocre this year.
If you are slowly easing your way into this year… That’s okay.
In fact, you might be better off.
You might not be immediately rushing to change your entire life because you know that life doesn’t start in January and start in December.
One main things we worked on during the 5 day momentum challenge last week was setting intentions from a good place of personal development and self care instead of comparison and scarcity.
Your success in health and wellness usually begins with being driven by your values and self respect.
You’re not “lazy” or “already behind”.
Having a slower start to January and staying consistent for the entire year, and ongoing…

Vs.
Having a fast and militant approach to January and giving up in February, and having the cycle repeat itself every year.
One is better off than the other.
The point of this post is to let you know that if you are crushing your Jan goals already, that’s awesome, good for you and keep going.
And, if you aren’t yet. That’s okay.
You have lots of time.

In fact, some of my most successful clients have started with me in Feb, March, April, etc.
Dates are just, well… dates.
If you want to have an approach this year that fits with your core values and lifestyle, that is sustainable and easy to implement.
