before and after her 16-20 week cut. Very proud of this woman and her work ethic towards the things she likes doing. When she has a goal in mind there isn’t much you can do to stop her.

I took over Oksana’a programming and nutrition in February. Her main goal was cutting down to see what she had built up through powerlifting the last 4 years. As well as a huge emphasis on improving gut health.
We pushed up all the way to 3100 calories a day for a few weeks to make sure she was in a decent spot to start this cut. Training was 4 days a week and cardio was max 40min 5 days a week, calories got to 1800 a day at the lowest. Cut was 16-20 weeks long.
Gut health has improved tremendously, she now can tolerate dairy and whey protein which was a HUGE goal of hers.
Now we reverse and start building up weak points for a big cut and some events in the next year or 2👀
Obviously as coaches we want to say we don’t pick favorites, however she’s my favorite and it’s not really close. Seeing the determination and discipline from her day in and day out runs off on me. It’s super motivating. I’m extremely excited to see everything unfold, as coach and client as well as my personal life with her.😁

Brandon started with me after a pretty bad ankle injury that had left him sedentary for the couple months before we started. He’s a Type 1 diabetic as well as vegan. This is all just a testament to show you what’s possible regardless of your situation.
He came in and busted his ass each and every session, and it’s showing.
6 months in and according to his Dexascan (last slide), he has gained 21lbs total, 15lbs of muscle tissue and 6lbs of fat.

finishing up this push phase. Up 20lbs, looking and feeling bigger all around. Big emphasis on back this phase.
Lots of work has been put in by this guy, he definitely wants it.
Now time to pull back a bit and get him in a better spot to keep pushing before next summer.

Christian has a TON of potential. He executed our plan to a T from day 1, didn’t complain, and asked questions out of curiosity instead of doubt.
I’ll be helping Christian get ready for his first bodybuilding show in ~50 weeks, so this isn’t the last you’ll see of him.

Austin and I have been working together for about 4 months now. In those 4 months he’s gone from 185->192->179lbs, all through diet, exercise, and correct supplementation.
He came to me in February just looking for a plan to guide him in the right direction and remove the stress of programming things himself. He manages a location and is very busy. 4 months later and he’s now benefiting from the work he’s put in.
The scale is an excellent tool to gauge progress within your fitness journey regardless of what anyone says.
Learning how to use it in a non detrimental way is so important.
Summary:

Some new year motivation!
Edwin and I started working together in June 2022.
First, we started by building a healthy diet that was sustainable for him. Next, we built a program and set up a routine with the necessary habits to get into the gym consistently. Then he executed!
Edwin showed up for every single session, never complained, and was always honest about how things were going. This was the key to making this transformation possible.

Simple breakdown of my opinion on supplements.
Now if buying preworkout and taking it is what gets you into the gym then I’m all for it.
However… I feel like most people think supplements are the first place to turn when starting out in their fitness and health journey. I personally think that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
That isn’t to shame you for your decisions but more so inform you that it’s more of a luxury than a necessity.
There are multiple variables that are required before I see the need to introduce supplements. If you are maximizing the other variables (Training, Diet and sleep) and can afford to add supplements in, then I believe it is a great tool to use.
This is pretty common talk I hear in the gym on a consistent basis.
As a beginner you can definitely get away with maximizing just one or 2 variables for a long period of time and still seeing progress. However the longer you go the more you will have to truly dial in everything.
This is also not a post to have you go and change your entire lifestyle and habits to maximize all these variables for the sake of “gains” but more to just give you a glance as to what all you can look to change for more progress. However making the changes requires you to be honest with yourself.
Fitness is fairly easy but it takes time and discipline to genuinely get to where you want to go, and that’s the beauty of it.
