We are looking for an experienced and energetic dental assistant to join our team. We are a small but busy office that values building strong patient relationships and providing excellent care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
Greet and es**rt patients to operatories. Prepare patients and operatories for all procedures. Ability to put patients at ease and knowledge to review treatment with patients.
Assist doctor with all procedures- select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed.
Keep operatories/office well organized and stocked. Ensure proper sterilization of operatories and instruments.
Perform light lab work
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills

Experience as dental assistant (3-5+ years ideally)
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments and sterilization methods
Experience with Dentrix, Nomad and CEREC ideal
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail, well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred. Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)

Salary dependent on experience.
