Due to an unfortunate and severe life incident, Life Balance's operations are temporarily suspended. We don't see this situation lasting very long at all. Life Balance’s unofficial therapy dog, Steve. Three months vs seven months. The boy has never met a stranger, but looks can be deceiving. Let’s not rush to judgment or fear. There is a huge divide in this country, and it’s caused us to lose our focus of what really matters. Let’s not live in our own ideological echo chamber. The next time you meet someone that looks, acts, or believes differently than you, please give that person the benefits of the doubt before becoming intentionally obtuse.

Everyone, meet Steve! He is the newest member of the Life Balance team. While he does not take most major insurance companies yet, he does have a self-pay option of milkbones or similar treats.

For those celebrating Thanksgiving, remember this day is about giving thanks and being grateful for our blessings. However, it can also be a day of great stress. Simply being around family and friends can trigger old resentments, past traumas, and exacerbate anxiety and depression symptoms. Sometimes these feelings can feel inescapable. In times like this, I suggest writing a quick gratitude list. Many people in this country are living on the streets, in nursing homes, receiving hospice care, suffering from chronic illnesses, or eating alone. Find your true blessings, stay humble, and if it’s still too overwhelming, call us. It would be our pleasure to talk with you during these difficult times.
