A massive thank you to the Ventura County Fair! On Food Share Day, fairgoers donated an incredible 4,200lbs (3,500 meals!) of food and 83 animals from the Jr. Livestock Auction to help feed our community! We are very grateful! Ventura County Fair

🤝 Partnership Spotlight: Feeding Farmworkers 🌾

Food Share partners with many organizations to feed Ventura County farmworkers where they live and work. These photographs show Poder Popular Promotores conducting a survey outreach with Reiter Affiliated and Celebration Nation to identify culturally appropriate food items to add to our food boxes.

Meet Our Pantry Partners - Church of the Nazarene!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting Church of the Nazarene in Oxnard. Pictured (at the back of the group) is Angie Curtis who manages the food pantry and collaborates with Food Share to ensure they have enough food for the 150 families they serve each month. Also in the photograph are Angie's incredible team of volunteers.
Food is available on the third Thursday of every month from 3pm to 4.30pm at the Church of the Nazarene, 1630 Saviers Road, Oxnard 93033.

Angie wants to thank everyone who supports Food Share and helps our neighbors in need.

Meet Our Pantry Partners!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Santa Paula. Pictured is Fr. Dome, who established the pantry three years ago. Elvia, who manages the pantry, collaborates with Food Share to ensure they have enough food for the 200 families they serve each Monday.

These recipients are incredibly grateful for Food Share's provision. One woman we spoke to shared that, before she found this pantry she had to choose between paying utility bills and feeding herself, often going hungry.

Thank you to everyone who supports Food Share. Your contributions make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.
