As a volunteer coordinator for six years, Sandra plays a vital role in our community. When asked why someone should spend their time volunteering with hospice, she explained that it's "extremely rewarding to know one is helping patients and their families through such a difficult time." When asked to share a memorable experience, volunteer coordinator Julia W. described this year's food drive when one brave soul stood outside in the cold and pouring rain for four hours helping her collect donated items.
