As we celebrate the Ordination of Fr. Michael Garvin today, we wish Fr. Kevin a Blessed Anniversary!
We’re excited to welcome you, Fr. Garvin!
Today we continue nine days of prayer for Deacon Michael Garvin, who will begin his first priestly assignment at St. Charles in June.
Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for giving the sacrament of Holy Orders to Your Church. We ask You to pour out Your grace on all men who are preparing to be ordained.
Whenever a man is ordained to serve Your Church in the priesthood, You place a character on his soul and provide sacramental grace to him. Ordination to the priesthood is a very momentous occasion in a man’s life and in the life of the Church.
Please bless all men who will soon be ordained, and we particularly ask today that You help all who are preparing for their priestly ordination.
Help us to always turn to You for all of our needs and the needs of those we love. Give us the grace to rely on You in all things in our lives.
And we especially ask in this novena for graces on Deacon Michael Garvin who is preparing to serve our parish as a priest.
Lord, hear our prayers!
Be sure to attend the 10am mass this Sunday to hear our St Charles Borromeo Men’s Choir
