As part of our annual Filipino American History Month (FAHM), celebration, FAMI is holding another month-long symposium throughout October 2024, reflecting on a ministry theme that intersects with the topic chosen by the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS). For FAMI, this is a unique opportunity to highlight and support ministry with Filipino Americans.

Through our online and in-person events, we will feature Filipino American scholar-practitioners and members of the Fuller community as they engage this year's theme, "Serving With Those Who Suffer." Stay tuned for a list of our presenters!

Our online (Zoom) gatherings will be held on the evenings of October 8 and 15 at 6p PDT. Our in-person, all-day gathering will take place at Fuller’s Pasadena campus on Friday, October 25 (details forthcoming). REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for the Zoom links and for our in-person events at the link below:

Did you know that our community (the FAMI-lia) is a beautiful, fast-growing, supportive community of ministry leaders, scholars, and creatives from within Fuller AND beyond Fuller? To join one of our formation group cohorts is to also join the FAMI-lia as we journey together. (See our previous posts or email us at [email protected] for info on the next cohort!)

We meet online regularly for fellowship, fun, and for all sorts of Filipino American and ministry-oriented discussions (pictured below)-- AND we meet in person at the Fuller Pasadena campus every October during Filipino American History Month. Soon, we'll also start meeting in *Chicago* during the spring. Stay tuned for more details!

p.s. One of our own even joined us while at the Dodgers game last night!
