We'd like to remind you that our boarding availability is getting limited for the week of July 4th. Please be sure to make your boarding reservations as soon as possible, and to let us know if fireworks induce anxiety for your pet(s). Now is also the time to call about getting a prescription/refill for calming medications for your pets that do get firework induced anxiety.

Please keep in mind that the 4th of July is still the day that the most pets go missing on. Have fun, and be safe!

The clinic will be closing early at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25 so that the staff can attend a meeting.

Pup pup, hooray! Today is a very special day. It's Dr. Dawson's birthday! Help us wish Dr. Dawson a Happy Birthday! May all your birthday wishes come true! With hot temperatures on the forecast, please be sure to exercise caution with your pets while outdoors. Paved surfaces get extremely hot and can burn paw pads. Also, be aware of signs of heatstroke-- excessive panting, excessive drooling, difficulty breathing, vomiting, and diarrhea (with or without blood). Please see a vet immediately if your pet is showing these symptoms.

If anyone is missing a pup, we have her at Mt. Hawley Animal Clinic. We will be asking for identifiers to ensure the pup is going home with its rightful owner. Not microchipped. PCAPS has already been notified, but we will be holding her. We will not be releasing her or adopting her out to anyone, as the owners rightfully have a grace period to reclaim their pet. Call Mt.
