Now that’s a beautiful specimen of Botswana Agate! This form of Agate from southern Africa is known for its extremely thin banding. It often has a “parallax” effect - flickering shadows that appear across the bands as you tilt it back and forth.
These two Herkimer Diamonds are still in matrix, meaning they’re still attached to the rock they grew out of! A type of Quartz found in Herkimer, New York, Herkimer Diamonds form in a naturally double-terminated diamond shape. Specimens still in matrix are an unusual find, and this one displays its two crystals nicely.
Who do you think lives in this cluttered little library? With a telescope and star charts, it’s the workshop of tiny astronomer! As always, these miniatures are made from real gemstones by a local artist, and are available exclusively at Nature Haven.
These figures were carved creatively around natural Quartz formations!
We just got in some slabs and tumbled stones of amazing old-stock Crazy Lace Agate! This stone is famous for its incredibly intricate patterns. We only have a few pieces, so get them before they’re gone!
We acquired a bunch of these organizers when we purchased an old collection. They’re empty now, but they’d be the perfect place to store your own collection - or anything else you need to organize! We’re selling them for $4.99 each, and they’re first come, first serve!

Here’s a cool piece! This spiky cluster of Quartz is almost a foot wide, and is covered in glittery little crystals of white Calcite. Its best feature is a wing-shaped Calcite formation, which fluoresces orange under UV light!
Who’s this hanging out on our wall? It’s a Crinoid fossil from Morocco! These ancient animals were relatives of the starfish. With their stem-like base attached to the sand and their feathery tentacles waving in the water, they looked like flowers growing out of the ocean floor - which is why they have the nickname “sea lilies!”
Net-style crystal holder necklaces! You asked for them, and we’ve finally got them in! Fill these customizable necklaces with your favorite stone or combination of stones. They’re easy to swap out, and the length is adjustable.
We just unveiled this shelf of beautiful old-stock Brazilian Agate! This locale is known for its warm and earthy reds, oranges, and yellows. These pieces have been tumble polished - a delicate and rarely used process which leaves them with smoothly polished edges.
Join us in ooh-ing and aah-ing over these new crystals of Amphibole Quartz! This stuff is also known as “Angel Wing Quartz” due to its wispy inclusions that look like feathers. 🪶
It’s time for some Ammonite appreciation! We’ve got big Ammonites, tiny Ammonites, colorful Ammonites and Ammonites full of crystal! Here’s an Ammonite fact: did you know that these ancient cephalopods could grow to be as big as five feet across?
Chalcedony nodules can be all kinds of strange shapes! We think this one looks like a squat little mushroom. 🍄 What does it look like to you?
This incredible cluster of Amethyst has a hidden secret. Inside each crystal of Amethyst are golden crystals of Goethite! This mineral is easily recognizable by its “broom” shape. Can you see it?
A gorgeous egg carved from Chrysocolla! This copper mineral is known for its vibrant blue-green color.
What do Blue Lace Agate and the sky above our heads have in common? They both get their color from Rayleigh Scattering! This lacy-looking Agate is blue because light is bouncing off of microscopic particles suspended inside of it - which is the same science behind why the sky looks blue!
We’ve got in some cute new fish fossils! 🐟 These little guys are Knightia and Diplomystus fish, and they come from the Green River Formation in Wyoming - a layer of fossils which was once the bottom of an ancient lake.
Frog and turtle teatime figurines are now available! As always, these figures are made from real gemstones by a local artist.

Here’s a rare find! This lovely pink stone with bulls-eye patterns is Thomsonite. Once rockhounded on the north short of Lake Superior, many of the best locales producing the highest quality Thomsonite have long since been developed and paved over. Beautiful old-stock pieces like this are hard to find!
Take a look at this weird and wonderful formation of Muscovite crystals! This shape is what’s known as a “book” formation, so called because the flat crystals are pressed together like the pages of a book.
