Relics is very happy to have the pleasure of hosting two Peoria local watercolor artists this Saturday June 8th. Jan Powers of Stonewall Gardens in West Peoria and Jane Coultas will both be in the house with us this Saturday painting and selling their work. Please come on out and say hello to these amazing two women. They will start painting at 11am....

Starting June 1st if you buy a plant and a planter at Relics East Peoria, you will get 15% off the pair ! Plus we will even pot it up for free using our special house-made, bacteria free, mineral & nitrogen rich potting dirt mix.

We are so incredibly excited to have the Artful Potter: Troy Brummond back at Relics this Saturday, May 18th, from 10am- 5pm.
Troy is a long time artist and potter from Oregon, Wisconsin. He will be with us for just one day this Spring… if you were here during his fall show, his beautiful pieces sold out so fast!!
The best thing about his pottery, not only are they usable and the glazes are gorgeous, but his prices are really great. Perfect to give or to keep all for yourself…

Messages to HER, from HER, for HER: poetry and journal for badass woman: is a unique, guided and interactive journal for the woman who feels a calling for more featuring poetry, journal prompts, laughter, fun, vulnerability and a variety of different modalities geared towards helping you connect back to yourself, to HER.

Hi Relics friends!!Thanks to everybody who brought their eclipse glasses in to be donated to Astronomers without Borders… Relics collected over 300 pairs! These will be all shipped to South America for the next big sun event! Thank you!!

This Saturday May 4th, from 10-5 we welcome Chillicothe native, collage artist Rachel Newell at Relics in Peoria for a one day pop-up artist event.
Rachel creates the most interesting thoughtful collages using bits of vintage paper and her incredible imagination.

Got solar eclipse glasses? We're collecting (undamaged, unscratched) eclipse glasses to Relics through April 16th to send to Astronomers Without Borders. Since 2008 they have been providing glasses to people who may not otherwise have a safe way to view an eclipse directly, and to those who need them for outreach and educational programs around the world. Everyone who brings in eclipse glasses will be entered in a special prize drawing to be held on April 17th!

She will be selling her candy and treats with us this Saturday…at the Relics Peoria location…
Her name is Jacqueline Gauthiér and here is a little bio from her:
I’m Jax, Owner and Head Confectioner at Sublime Confections. I have worn many professional titles over the years but other than “Momma,” this is my favorite! Sublime Confections specializes in handcrafted chocolates and other delightful artisan confections in Central Illinois. We have thrown our hearts into this venture, engaging with professional chocolatiers around the world, gleaning technical wisdom and exposing ourselves to design concepts of modern confectionery. On top of all that, we have been networking like crazy and have made new friendships that add to the joy factor that makes this all possible! Hi Relics Friends, we are so happy to have Victoria Mitchell back at Relics this Saturday from 11- 2 for a book signing of her new book, “Surviving Grief: Enduring and Learning From the Worst Days of Our Lives.” A retired therapist, Victoria focuses on what we grieve, how we grieve, and ultimately what healing looks like. She will also have copies of her first book available, “Happiness Calling: A Practical Guide for Saying Yes to Life’s Joy.” 15% of book sales will be donated to the MS Walk Peoria 2024.
