We had a Rotary club meeting like none we've ever had! Our guest speaker and author, Bill Engelbrecht, accompanied with his wife Helen, gave us all a lesson in not underestimating the global impact someone from Central Illinois could have! The life of Nelson Dean Jay is well depicted in the book Illinois' Gift to Paris and allowed us all to be surprised at just how many world events this man from Elmwood played a role in or shared a connection! Do yourself a favor and check out the book.
Last week's meeting opened the 2024-2025 Rotary Year.

Rotary is so much more than what happens at our weekly meetings, but we'd love to have you join us and see what it's all about.
