Venturing Crew 247 is a coed crew through BSA that meets in Perry on Monday nights for youth ages 14
Venturing Crew 247 focuses on High Adventures such as caving, climbing/repelling, rafting, and hiking. We also do a lot of camping, canoeing, and swimming and have recently decided to go to different haunted areas to experience the thrill of the Ghost Hunter.

Planning meeting....
Crew/Troop 247 annual pumpkin carving / chunking meeting was a hit! Literally all over the yard!
Tonight at 6:30pm we will have the crews annual Halloween party. We will be eating pizza (bring your 5$) and carving pumkins(bring your pumpkin) and chunking pumpkins) again bring your pumpkins. You are always welcome to bring a friend. Please remeber social distancing and if you have been sick or around someone sick please stay home.
Rozer Park clean up take 2!
6:30 crew meeting at Rozer park in Oerry. Cleanup! Bring covid gear. Water, gloves and friends! We will supply the trash bags and reaching tools! We will be heading home when it starts getting dark 7:30 or sooner.

Venture meeting at Ms. Amanda’s house 6:30-7:30 adjusting for day light time. Bring swim suit if you want to swim or s’mores stuff for s’mores! Also bring bug spray, water bottles and covid items. As always if you have been in contact with someone sick or feel sick please stay home.

Clean up at Rozer park! 3 full bags of trash later....
Meeting at Perry’s Rozor park on Keith Drive. 6:30pm so we can get home earlier. Bring gloves, bug spray, water bottles and masks for when we can’t social distance. The Rhonemus’s will bring trash bags! We will meet in parking lot and do a short head count pass out bags and short chat about next meeting.
Venture meeting / swim at Rhonemus house 7pm Monday. Planning for next clean up and then some swimming!
3 1/2 bags of trash per person! Collected and disposed on Wellston Trails in Warner Robins. Not a lot of trash to be picked up but we made the most of it. Also got 2 miles in and 2 hours of community service!

Tonight’s meeting is at welston Trails off corder. We will be doing a trash pickup. Bring gloves, bug spray and water bottle. I will be providing trash bags. We will meet at 7pm on corder road parking area and walk the trail and pick up trash afterwards ice cream! If we get rained out we will be here next Monday.

Hello to all! Last night we met at Amanda Rhonemus house. We will continue to meet there until further notice. We will be practicing social distancing and we ask if you feel sick, run a tempature or have been in contact with someone who has covid not to come. Always bring a mask just incase it is needed. We will be meeting every Monday until further notice. We have decided to put camping on the back burner and we will have a fun meeting every other Monday and a cleanup at chosen locations for a meeting. We still want to spread the scouting spirit. If you or someone you know would like to join please message us! Next meeting is a swim and movie night. Popcorn, water and sweet tea provided. Movie of choice will be jaws! All will be done poolside. Bring your suit!
