Restoring hope and dignity to those in need in our community. The Hebron House operates two emergency shelters which are Juno House and Siena House.
The Hebron House also has a Youth Housing Program and our Jeremy House Program and several permanent properties. Through case management and the utilization of community partners the Hebron House seeks to find long term solutions to homelessness by increasing the monthly income of guests and finding permanent, affordable housing.

Jack began experiencing homelessness about 12 years ago when he lost his job, due to physical and mental health issues. He would move between Milwaukee and Waukesha, staying at various shelters, including Jeremy Safe Haven and Siena House. Although he worked diligently at improving his mental and physical health, he was unable to maintain employment making it difficult for him to meet rental requirements.
Earlier this year while at Siena, Jack prioritized for Hebron's Permanent Supportive Housing program and was able to move into his own apartment this Spring! Through generous funding and donations, we were able to set up his apartment with furniture and essentials. He continues to work with his case manager to maintain his overall wellness. Congratulations, Jack--we are so happy to have been part of your journey to finding your home sweet home!β€π
Hebron wishes all the moms out there, a wonderful Mother's Day!
Local children's book author, Mary Gover Gray generously donated copies of her books, "Dixie Doodle the Helper Poodle," and "Dixie Doodle the Happy Poodle!" They will go perfectly, tucked into the book pillows made and donated by the Patched Lives Quilt Guild - Waukesha County! What wonderful gifts for the children at Juno House!β€π

Our sincere thanks to long-time board member, gala chairman and dedicated volunteer Aroon Viswanathan. While we hope he is only taking a short hiatus from our Board of Directors, we didnβt want to miss the opportunity to recognize Aroon for his years of hard work and support.
Amy first came to Juno House in September after leaving a difficult living situation. She was pregnant with her first child and had nowhere to go. She was enrolled in Coordinated Entry and stayed at Juno for 2 weeks before going into labor 4 months early. After her daughter was born, she worked hard to maintain her full-time employment as a CNA, so she would be prepared when baby was released from the hospital. Amy prioritized for our PEAK Rapid-Rehousing Program in January and immediately began working with her case manager to find housing. Despite her barriers, she worked with the potential landlord and Hebron, and signed a lease just as her daughter was scheduled to be released from the hospital! Amy was able to bring her baby girl home to their very own permanent, safe apartment and continues to work closely with her case manager! Congratulations Amy π π©·

John had been experiencing homelessness since 2017, when he lost his job due to medical complications. He battled stomach cancer, COVID, mental health and AODA issues, spending a year in the hospital prior coming to Siena House in 2022. There, he began working with one of our case managers, was enrolled in Safe Haven and eventually entered our Permanent Supportive Housing program. Now John is able to focus on staying healthy both mentally and physically in a home of his ownβ€π .
Congratulations John!

Our Story
In the early 1980βs, religious leaders in Waukesha County met to discuss the increasing number of homeless in our community. Hebron House became the SOLUTION! Our founder, Bernie Juno, spent the next 30+ years building and responding to the needs of our homeless population in Waukesha County. Today, we shelter over 60 individuals every day throughout 3 shelters and have 2 low income housing units. We continue to evolve our services and programs to maximize moving individuals from homelessness . . . to HOME!
