All of the time people ask.. why microchip? Why track? Being in the field for several years, I’ve reunited so many families with their pets… and also treated dogs that were injured on the run. The first thing we do for lost pets on arrival is to scan them for a microchip! Now Pet Wellness Clinic offers internal microchips and external air tags so that you too can try to track and find your pet before they make their way to us!

Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease spread through the urine of wildlife. The leptospirosis vaccine is becoming increasingly important as cases rise in our area. Mammals (including humans!) can become infected if they are exposed to contaminated water, soil, PUDDLES, or other exposed surfaces. This disease can quickly become dangerous to pets and pet parents, which is why we consider the Leptospirosis vaccine to be SO important. Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information!
