The face behind the plate:
Father and son duo James and Stephon established Sheba’s Soul Plate in July. The idea was birthed from a vegetarian soul food restaurant, Garden of Sheba that James and his wife opened in 2003 in Charlottesville. James has been an educator and entrepreneur for over 20 years.
From working at the restaurant and living in a culinary household Stephon’s love for food grew. He worked in several restaurants all over Philly but both decided they were ready to take on the food cart full time.
Here at Sheba’s Soul Plate we dedicate ourselves to providing healthy and delicious food at affordable prices. When you treat your body right you allow your mind to do so as well. We are so grateful for the continuous support and are blessed to continue to share what we love with you.
