The new dormitory we're designing for Solebury School has received its Phius CORE 2021 Design Certification🎉 This means that the design documentation complies with the rigorous energy standards that Phius requires to certify a building as . This is a major hurdle to clear, and we couldn't be happier to design a building for kids to inhabit that reduces its ecological footprint and is truly .

Have you ever dreamt of playing with the Phillies? Did you know that we designed The Yard - an immersive baseball experience at Citizens Bank Park? The Yard is a 13,000-square-foot concourse installation that gives fans the opportunity to feel like they're part of the team, and what could be better than that?⁠

On Tuesday we had the great honor of receiving the Wyck-Strickland award, a lifetime achievement award that "honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the cultural life of Philadelphia through work that reflects a drive for progress and modernity with a sensitivity to the past." This special award was given to us by the Wyck Historic House, Garden, and Farm and hosted Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania on our iconic tree canopy walk Out on a Limb. It was a beautiful evening, Alan Metcalfe and Aaron Goldblatt gave inspiring speeches and it was such a pleasure to celebrate with so many colleagues and familiar faces!

A site visit to Solebury School!

Today we want to take a moment to honor all the incredible teachers out there!

We’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with wonderful teachers as we design schools, build play spaces, and think creatively about how students learn best. The teachers we’ve met both close to home and far away, continue to amaze us as they try their hardest day in and day out to build a future that’s a little brighter. They give their all to their students even when it goes unnoticed and we couldn’t be prouder to work with them and for them! Happy

We are so happy to be involved in this project to bring a historic West Philadelphia landmark back to life! With its new high-performance building envelope, it is set to be in fighting shape to brave another century and be a University City model for sustainable reuse. We are positive that it will be a wonderful home for Elwyn for years to come. So proud of the whole team!

A huge congratulations to a member of our team, Wil Hershner, for finishing at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University and receiving a Masters of Architecture. He was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal (awarded to the top graduating student in a university’s Architecture program!) and the Architectural Research Centers Consortium King Student Medal (for excellence in architectural research). As we look toward the future, we're very excited to be working with you.
