The benefits of shiatsu can be profound. From extreme relaxation and the easing of muscle pain to pushing through emotional and mental blocks. I find that I always get what I need from a shiatsu session. This treatment is great for everyone. Some of our clients come in with sports injuries, chronic pain, migraines, depression/anxiety, fertility issues, digestive issues and sometimes they are just feeling “stuck”. Our dear friends from Applepuncture will provide individualized treatments that incorporate acupuncture’s ancient ghost points. These special points were historically used to treat epilepsy, mania, neurological and mental imbalances. They are now appropriately used to treat the inner demons of stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD. Hi Facebook folks,
since our move to Lamberville, we are experiencing a bit of confusion with our client and potential clients around "what it is the we do here." Our name is acurate in that we are indeed a Reiki School and we provide in depth, long form Reiki training. What it omits is the plethora of other services we provide for our community! I will be sharing some of those over the next few days via social media posts. First up, Shiatsu!

Shiatsu is an energy-based therapy that originated within the Asian Healing Arts. It incorporates techniques of traditional Japanese massage, acupressure, stretching, and some aspects of Western massage. It also incorporates the theory of acupuncture which proposes that energy, known as “Chi” ( or “Ki”) moves through the body along well defined passageways called meridians. Creating balance in these energy flows is considered to be essential for health and well-being. Shiatsu, which involves application of pressure on energy points and energy pathways, has been found exceptionally effective for stress-reduction, reducing fatigue and alleviating a wide spectrum of symptoms.

I've seen profound shifts and transformations in people (including myself) through this modality. If you are feeling "stuck". you may want to give it a try. We offer a discounted clinic monthly or regular private sessions.
