Student Engineers Assist Local Historical Society with Restoration Lafayette students combine engineering, sustainability, and community connections to rebuild historic fire pit at Roseberry House in Phillipsburg, N.J.

Roseberry House gradually looking like 200-year-old self thanks to historical society (PHOTOS) The Revolutionary War-era home was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, around the time that it was last inhabited, but the restoration project aims to bring its look and feel back to its earliest days.

Thank you to Zack Fisk and the girls from Lafayette College who helped us build our fire pit at Roseberry House. Rich Backes, PAHS VP oversaw their work. We really appreciate it! 😊
