Here’s what parents are saying about Doorways this week…

“I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and Doorways. I love that you started Doorways to help this age group. When I looked for services for (my daughter) in January 2019 it was tough! I am so happy I found Doorways and appreciate all the help you have given both my daughters. You have been a lifesaver, literally. Anyway, I am sure you hear all the negatives and wanted to make sure you heard the positive also. Again, Thank you for all you do! -A grateful Mom”

Substance Use Disorder IOP 09/18/2020

The Substance Use Disorder IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) at Doorways is a substance abuse program for youth ages 13-17 who are struggling with drug or alcohol abuse.

SUD IOP may be recommended as teen drug treatment for those who do not need a medically-supervised detox. IOP group therapy can also enable teens in recovery to continue outpatient drug rehab following their successful detox, on a part-time, yet intensive, schedule, designed to accommodate school and family life.

In the Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program, individuals receive teenage drug abuse treatment primarily through group therapy. Unlike the typical teenage drug treatment center, our groups are small and generally do not exceed 10 people, allowing for a safe and supportive environment for youth treatment.
