Lonise Bias is an internationally-known motivational speaker, trainer, consultant, a certified teen and family life coach. Her mission for over thirty years has been to invest hope, courage, and endurance in the lives of her audiences. Her journey was navigated as a public speaker after her oldest son, Len Bias, a University of Maryland, basketball player, died of co***ne intoxication in June of 1986, just two days after being drafted by the Boston ​Celtics. Her ministry to children and women was further developed after the loss of a second, Jay Bias, to gun violence. Dr. Bias has spoken at national and international meetings to encourage youth and parents. She currently hosts a monthly speakers series online and a bi-annual women's conference called Women of Light. Dr. Bias is the PCW keynote speaker Friday Night and Saturday Morning Workshop Leader presenting on the topic of "Purposely Created to Proclaim the Light in Darkness," She is sure to captivate and motivate all those who need hope in Christ.
