Anyways, if you’re in Arizona and haven’t heard the news, we have been running operations here for about 2 months now 🤗🤗
As we have transitioned out of our Oregon restaurant, we are now back in the owners home state of Arizona (YAY🤗) serving our famous BBQ & comfort food solely MOBILE!
Here’s a few ways you can keep track of our movements, as we are strictly mobile 😉
1️⃣ Sign up for our text message list. Text the word “join” to 833-213-3116. This is the easiest way to keep tabs on us! We will send out a weekly text with details as to where we will be, as well as potential opportunities that may pop up last minute.
2️⃣ IG. We will also post here on our Instagram once a week with our events for that week.
3️⃣ Check our website, on our events tab. (Link is in bio) Here we will post our events for the entire current month (just keep in mind if you check it @ the beginning of the month, we may add more throughout the month, as we sign up for more- but rest assured we will continue to update!)
4️⃣ Facebook- we’ll keep trying to fix our issue, but the other 3 methods above are the most reliable source of communication as of right now. ❤️

This Friday, 11/17 we are having a pop up from
11am-8pm at our Lombard location for Homegrown Smoker!
Our tentative menu is as followed:
Appetizer sampler platter
Mozz sticks
Wings
Buff burrito
Combo plate. Protein options: smoked soycurls, smoked tempeh, 2 wings. Side options: macnocheese, coleslaw, beans, or fries.
Bbq soycurl sandwich w/fries
Milkshakes
(As long as we have no supply issues with any of the ingredients, that will be the finalized menu)
• Please note, our pop up menu will be available for placing an order on our website the day of for pickup or delivery. We will NOT be taking orders over the phone or in person. We will not have a full staff, therefore will not have bar/drink service and will not have any indoor service. Everything will be served as takeout, but if you'd like to sit indoors and enjoy your meal, that's totally fine!
In addition to our pop up, we are offering a PREORDER holiday menu.
For pre orders, please Venmo with the items you'd like to order & your phone number. The deadline for pre orders will be Wednesday 11/15, and they can be picked up anytime on Friday 11/17 from 11am-8pm.

A large amount of you all know Lauren from our Portland cart. Lauren has been by my side since day 1 of our first food cart, and has proven time & time again to be such a great asset to both MB & HGS. So much so, that we have big plans with expansions, and within the next few years she has the option to take over and run the current Lombard location. So be nice to her, & don’t scare her away 😹😋
I’m Lauren (she/her). I’m the general manager here at HGS. I am super passionate about veganism and animal rights and I absolutely love food and cooking. I have been vegan for a little over 4 years but I haven’t eaten meat in 10 years. I have a dog who’s my entire world, and I also have a cat and 3 rescue rabbits. My life revolves around my babies. I love reading, cheesy dating shows, and going to metal shows. Im thankful everyday to be able to spread the vegan word by serving up great vegan bbq with our kick ass team here and I’ve loved building relationships with all of our amazing new customers. About me: Hi y’all! My name is Mars and I’m a q***r nonbinary cook with a passion for both vegan and barbecue food 💖 I’ve spent the last two years training under another vegan barbecue chef and am so excited to bring everything I’ve learned to the kitchen at Homegrown Smoker. When I’m not working I’m either cooking for folks in my community, painting, playing music, or spending time with my loved ones. I’m so excited to be here and I can’t wait to make an amazing meal for each and every customer!
