It’s me. Peggy. These last couple weeks were ca-ray-zee. I kept a journal, but I won’t bore you with the details.

The short version is my foster mama had to go out of town so I was back at the shelter. My anxiety and sadness came back real fast. But luckily another foster lady named Becky came and rescued me out of there! I got to stay at her home with her dog Rosie! I got to have a doggy sibling and proved to everyone that while I’m excitable and sometimes annoying, I can get along with other dogs just fine!

Anyway, Foster Mama came back and I’m comfy in my bed for now, but she has a couple more trips coming up. I sure wish I could just be with my forever family! Where are they??

I am a happy girl today! I wasn’t doing very well at the shelter so I am in a temporary foster home right now. I’m even starting to make a new friend! I think they want to play with me too? Maybe someday I’ll have a hooman family and furry siblings of my very own! 

Well that car ride didn’t end up as I had hoped. Foster Mama told me she has to go out of town so I’ll be back at AAWL for a while. She told me it’s just an adventure for a bit but I’m not so sure. She also told me this way my forever family can find me! I sure hope so.
Luckily so many hoomans here have fallen in love with me and will visit me.
So, I don’t think they have WiFi for me to update my page from here, but rest assured until you hear otherwise from me on this page, I’m still available to be your forever girl!

Hey guys! Don’t I look so cute with my favorite toy?!??
I’m a little worried tho. See, I love my toys. And I love to run around and play with them. But Foster Mama has to go on a work trip soon for two whole weeks! I really wish I had my forever home by now. I’m not made for kennel life. I probably won’t have my favorite toys, and I definitely won’t have my splash pad. I just can’t imagine having to wait two whole weeks to get back to a house and normal life. Maybe someone that sees this is ready to take me home for good?

Well, work was… a lot. Foster Mama said I didn’t get ‘dopted, but that’s okay. I’m back at “home” and recouping from such a long day. I’m more of a “stay-at-home” dog. That’s where I can just chill and be my sweet, calm, lovey self! AND that means I’m still looking forward to meeting my furever family!

Yeah- but seriously. Didya know I will be helping at the front desk tomorrow? What a GREAT opportunity to meet yours truly. 😬
