Happening today at 6 PM! Join us on Facebook Live via the Arizona AFL-CIO page for a brand-new event celebrating Women in Organized Labor featuring the legendary Dolores Huerta.
Ms. Huerta’s work is the focus of the exhibit that was recently on display at the Capitol Museum through March 11, 2022.
This special virtual event will feature an interview of Dolores Huerta by Tucson Mayor Regina Romero, followed by remarks from Arizona AFL-CIO Executive Director Fred Yamash*ta, a virtual tour of the exhibition from María del Carmen Cossu, project director for Latino Initiatives for the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, and a Q & A.

The Dolores Huerta Revolution in the Fields/ Revolución en los Campos exhibition is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery. This exhibition received federal support from the Latino Initiatives Pool, administered by the Smithsonian Latino Center.
