We took a step back and explored a variety of perspectives, including the history of paper, its unique properties, benefits and how consumers regard paper. As consumers, we seem to feel comforted by paper because it provides a natural and earthy feel. That's according to the The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Health's study, “Sustainable Materials, A Consumer’s Perspective.” People have even used paper to insulate their homes, according to our friends at PaperPapers.com.
