Willie Baronet grappled with feelings of awkwardness and guilt whenever he passed by individuals experiencing homelessness holding signs. Determined to make a difference, he began offering to purchase these signs, initiating meaningful interactions with unhoused individuals and listening to their stories. This simple gesture evolved into his transformative project known as “We Are All Homeless.” In 2014, he embarked on a journey across the country, continuing to collect signs and engage with people along the way. This experience was captured in the documentary “Signs of Humanity.” Baronets exhibits have resonated across the country and around the world, reshaping perceptions of homelessness. To delve deeper into his impactful work, visit the “We Are All Homeless” website.
