Building up the ‘Not so Average Leader’

Kitchen of Grace’s missions to raise up Indigenous leaders in our youth; that means to help them identify what the future is to look like, to feel safe, to feel connected and to have a sense of ownership and control over their destiny. As Executive Director for Kitchen of Grace, a leader in our communities it is imperative to teach our Youth that they have an important role in the defining of our future. They provide the sense of perpetuity. It is important for our youth to know that they can be heard, and must be heard. By supporting the development of future leaders gives us hope that the future can be much more culturally alert, vibrant, healthy and safe for ALL in particular urban young people.
