The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust unveiled four newly installed monumental bronze sculptures by Pittsburgh artist Thaddeus Mosley in Downtown's Cultural District this morning!
The four sculptures will be on exhibition at the intersection of 8th Street and Penn Avenue until August 31, 2025.

The Point State Park fountain turned 50 years old yesterday 🎂 🎉
We were joined by Pittsburgh city leaders and community members to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic water spout. In honor of the fountain turning 50, Governor Josh Shapiro and Mayor Ed Gainey proclaimed August 28 as "Point State Park Fountain Day"!
Over the past weekend, students from Carnegie Mellon University, Point Park University, and Washington & Jefferson College volunteered with our Clean Team to help beautify the Burgh!
More than 270 students removed over 65 bags worth of weeds and trash from around Downtown. Thank you to all of the volunteers for your efforts and dedication.

Commissioned through the PDP's Uncommon & Curated Fun, Elemental is a site-specific, multi-channel video installation created by Pittsburgh-based artist Carolina Loyola-Garcia.
To celebrate the installation's debut, we are hosting an Open House at One Oxford Centre on August 29, from 5 - 6:30 pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and chat with the artist, explore her new work, and enjoy light food and beverages.
