It's often referred to as 'the GED', but actually the GED exam covers four subjects broken into four separate exams. To earn a high school equivalency diploma through GED testing the student must earn a passing score on all four GED subject exams.

Ever wondered why GED classes are called ADULT Education? In Texas attendance in school in compulsory until the individual reaches the age of 19 or they graduate, whichever comes first. There are, of course, multiple exceptions to this statue, and some GED students in our program are as young as 16.
