Thank you to all the volunteers and donors for making the 4th annual Christmas Free Market so special for our Tri-Valley community. The market served 111 households from CityServe in the Tri-Valley which will impact over 500 family members and 278 kiddos. Thank you especially to our two volunteer project leaders, Karena and Derry (the dynamic duo) for planning and executing all the details to make this a day of cheer and hope! If you or someone you know in the Tri-Valley is struggling this season please send them our way Saturday for a little Christmas cheer! No pre-registration needed. We could still use some toys, clothes/coats, Christmas decorations and food items.

Two amazing virtual classes are starting!! Next week, Monday at 10am Angela will kick off a 4 week Finding Wellness series with a discussion on lowering your stroke risk. To register for this class email [email protected] and we will provide you with the zoom link. Angela will also be doing a virtual crafting workshop on learning to make wooden beaded ornaments. Our Story
Established in 2008, CityServe is a home grown non-profit, grown out of the Tri-valley churches’ desire to serve others close to home. As more local needs were met and other organizations, non-profits and local city officials saw the impact, partnerships grew. We have evolved into one of the most comprehensive resources for volunteer opportunities and needs in the Tri-valley.
In 2011, CityServe established an office in Dublin at the 580 Executive Center which is staffed daily. In 2012, CityServe of the Tri-Valley received the federal 501(c)3 non-profit designation and was awarded our first grant from the City of Dublin. In 2013, Gloria Gregory, cofounder of CityServe, became the Executive Director and hosted our first annual Tri-Valley Thanksgiving Community Breakfast. In each year 2014-2016 CityServe’s cumulative volunteer hours have exceeded 100,000 hours serving over 40 non-profits and many individuals in the Tri-Valley. In 2017 CityServe was awarded human services grants by the City of Dublin, the City of Livermore and the City of Pleasanton. In 2017 we have over 40 Partners in Service working together to serve our local non-profits and communities.
