Calling all young writers! Submissions for our third annual teen one act jamboree are open for application! From now through November 30th, you can submit your one act play to our jamboree and be considered for production in our Teen One Act Jamboree this April. As many members of our StageWorks family head back to school, we want to to take a moment and thank everyone who joined us for summer camp this year! We had an action packed couple of months this year, and we could not be more grateful for the campers, counselors, choreographers, and directors who came together to make this summer season possible. Calling all future acting and musical theatre majors! Our most educational fall yet is starting up at StageWorks, and we're opening classes for ages 15 - 18 specifically geared towards college prep! Join our college prep acting intensive to learn collegiate level acting techniques such as Meisner, Stanislavsky, and Hagen alongside scene study and script analysis. This cheerleader murder mystery is something we've been waiting to produce for a very long time, and we're so excited that that time is finally here. Year three! Everybody give it up for year three! Our StageWorks Season Preview fundraiser just started rehearsals yesterday, and tickets for the event are on sale now at the link below! Join us in previewing next year's season of shows alongside a pre-show reception and raffle. Proceeds from our season preview benefit StageWorks and our love fund for the entire season. Happy closing to the musical that ends like this, Spamalot Young@Part! This laugh-a-minute musical has been a joy to put up, and we are thrilled to have had these campers take the stage this weekend. We're fresh out of intensives this summer, but we'll be back next week with more summer camp, and next year with more camp intensives.

It may still be hot outside, but we're gearing up for fall! Our slate of fall classes is now available for registration on our website. This semester features some of our classic musical theatre and improv classes, and we're adding some new offerings to the mix! Our Musical Theatre Masterclass is back with a brand new group of instructors, and we're adding a hip hop dance class to our roster starting in October. We're a week out from our One Act Jamboree and we are now officially able to say that we raised $733 for Broadway Cares in memory of our long-time one act director Mac McCormick, who we lost unexpectedly earlier this year. Thank you all for coming out to support our one act tradition and for donating throughout the event to help us give back to this incredible organization.

Earlier in July, we were also able to raise $2,165 for The Trevor Project through our one act presentation of The Waters of the West Branch by local playwright Anthony Bevilacqua. We are thrilled to be part of a community that cares so much about giving back to worthy causes and making a difference. We hope to continue producing quality work for many years to come and we look forward to your continued support and friendship in our new season.

We're back from a weekend full of one acts to say CONGRATULATIONS to our 2024 NJACT Perry Award Nominees. We are so excited to be working with so many accomplished people from New Jersey community theatre, and to be producing shows that matter. Congratulations to Rachel Perl and Malcolm Green for their outstanding performance nominations, and to the entire cast and crew of last year's One Act Jamboree for their nomination for best production of an original play.

And thank you to everyone who has made StageWorks their home over the past year and who continues to make this theatre such a loving place to be. Without the community, there would be no point to theatre, and we are deeply grateful for all of you.
