Congratulations to Dominic! The one and only kid out of the 10 registered to show up to the Bowling with the Lefties tournament. He automatically got first place prize of Box seats to a Lefties game!

If you have registered your kid to bowl with a Leftie and you cannot make it, please give us a call and let us know. We arrange with the Lefties the day before the tournament to have the correct amount of players there. They come in on their free time to do these tournaments.

George Herman "Babe” Ruth
🎳 He was one of the most popular baseball players of all time but few people realize later in life he was an avid bowler!
🎳 His favorite place to bowl was close to home, the riverside hotel on 73rd street in New York city.
🎳 He threw a left handed straight ball and took his game seriously.
🎳 Ruth generally bowled alone and averaged around 175.
🎳 Ruth bowled as many as a dozen games a day six days a week!
🎳 He also bowled an exhibition to a packed house at the queens bowling center!

Spokane County USBC is hosting the WA State Open Championship and the Women's State Tournament starting this weekend May 18th!

We had a successful 1st annual Stacey Shipley Memorial Tournament today!! We raised $2,180 total!! That means that Friends Together and Youth Bowling each received $1,090!!! Thank you to everyone who came and to all those who bowled! You all are awesome! Stacey would have been so thrilled with today! He is definitely looking down and smiling right now!

Your Westsound USBC Association is holding their Annual General Membership Meeting on Saturday, April 20th, 10am at All Star Lanes in Silverdale.

ALL MEMBERS OF THE WESTSOUND USBC ARE INVITED.

Come to the meeting. Get involved in YOUR Association and let your voice be heard.

We will have Elections for President, Sergeant of Arms, Youth Reps, and Adult Directors.

Thanks to all the families who participated in our winter youth bowling league! We had a great turnout with 30 youth participating. Special thanks to the veteran’s organizations that sponsored and supported our youth league: Fleet Reserve Association Branch 174, Sequim VFW Post 4760, Carlsborg VFW Post 6787, and the American Legion. Also thanks to Troy and Trish Tisdale for taking over organizing the youth league this year. We plan to hold a youth/adult doubles league starting in September, and then our regular youth league will start up next January. Stay tuned for more details!
