The sooner we start, the sooner we’ll reap many of the health benefits that regular exercise has to offer. As a Personal Trainer & Health Coach, I get asked many questions, but a significant, yet often overlooked one is footwear (especially for workout and physical activity). A good fitting, supportive, and comfortable shoe is important. Remember, our feet support us and are our foundation from there up. 👟👟 The right footwear can mean the difference between successfully moving forward, or injury. Every foot is different, and our feet change overtime, so getting a professional fitting and trying a variety of shoes, to find your best fit, is key. Taking care of our feet can have life-long benefits, keeping us on the right path for year to come. I’ve included a pic from my foot doctor’s handout. It’s right in line with other foot doctor’s recommendations from across the country. So, treat your feet, keep moving to keep moving, and your body will thank you later.
