The Golden Barbell Award

The golden barbell isn't just for the person that has lost the most weight or has came the most times in 1 month. It's to showcase someone's overall strength and improvement to their lifts in the bench, squat and deadlift. It may not always be about who has lifted the most but maybe someone that finally made a Personal Record happen after 6 months of trying.

This Golden Barbell Award goes out to Alli Peterson. She's been coming 3 times each week for 6 months now and improving her lifts every time. During our testing week, she lifted 5lbs more on her squat, 5lbs more on her bench and 65lbs more on her deadlift! Her form and strength has improved tremendously since her first test week. Not only has she gained strength during this time but has improved her diet and her endurance.

Congratulations Alli on the first ever Golden Barbell Award. We will be retesting our lifts coming in September and see who else will improve the most!

Our gym community is like no other.

Just recently a new member brought in her 20 month old. Her daughter was having a hard day and almost everyone in the class took turns playing with her DURING class so the mom could get her workout in.
