From :Seuvas brings us a new match dyed capsule collection taking their three best selling garments and presenting them in a subtle green by garment dying them in matcha. Seuvas’ Farmer shirt is great example of allowing the fabric to dictate the garment. This canvas has nice hand-feel to it and is comfortable to wear year round. The single chest pocket has a unique stitched down flap which keeps the flap down without the need for a pocket button and is placed a little lower on the chest for easy entry.

Seuvas is a brand dedicated to the art of producing canvas of all weights. They own their own canvas looms and factory which produces their canvas exactly to their specifications for the right look and texture. They even cut and sew all the garments in their own workshop in Kurashiki, Japan using vintage sewing machines so that the canvas reacts with just the right amount of puckering at the seams.

The only exterior branding on their garments is a single hand-made porcelain button made from clay ore (Amakusa pottery stone) mined in Amakusa City, Kimamoto prefecture, Japan. Amakusa pottery stone is a historic pottery stone that is a raw material which has been used in Japanese pottery since the 17th century. These porcelain buttons are designed by Seuvas and made in the traditional way in Amakusa.

Posted • Notes from field testing the new Mountain 600 Evo in Patagonia:

When we booked our flight to Patagonia, I knew my biggest priority on my packing list needed to be good hiking shoes with strong ankle support. It was clear just a few miles into our first hike that I made the right choice going with my Mountain 600 Evos.

During our hikes, my ankles not only felt safe and supported while scrambling and crossing large sections of boulder fields, but the boots were genuinely comfortable. The 600 Evo’s felt like I was just wearing a pair of my favorite sneakers.

Even with several stream crossings and unexpected rainfall, my feet stayed dry and, more importantly, blister-free.

Overall, I’m so glad I reached for my Danners for this trip and am so excited to use them this summer here in NW Montana!
