We are excited to announce that Lacrosse Northwest is bringing on Justin Cox as the new Co-Director of the Rippers Boys Program. Those of you that know Justin, know how much passion and love that he has not just for lacrosse but for the continual development, growth, and opportunities for the boys.
 
If you don’t know Justin, here are some quick notes:
•Portland grown!
•Has played lacrosse for 20+ years
•Was President and Captain of Western Oregon lacrosse, MCLA DII, during the strongest years of their existence
•Current Men’s Rippers President of 10 years
•Rippers coach for 6 years. 4 of those years with the Rippers 2023, where he sent 10-15 players on to play lacrosse at the collegiate level
•Current Beaverton HS Head Coach
 
Directly from Justin – “ I have been with Lacrosse Northwest for the last 6 years and during that time I have had the honor to help young men grow both as adults and lacrosse players. I am beyond excited and thrilled for this opportunity to grow this game that has blessed me so much in my life! With the support of my wife and son, I am fully committed to growing the LaxNW Family, and everything that lacrosse can bring to this community! I look forward to meeting and talking with all of you on how LaxNW can be a positive impact on your sons life!”

What a way to finish the summer season for the 2027s!! The boys gritted out an extremely competitive championship game to come out on top with a 4-3 dub at Oregon Lacrosse Classic! Couldn’t be more proud of this group and the immense growth they showed over the season!! Great win fellas!!

Men’s Summer League has been in full swing for the last 5 weeks! Place to be for some of the best lacrosse this summer! Graduated high school and current collegiant players getting after it!! Playoffs start next week for these fellas!!

The 2027s finished day one at Western Shootout with a 2-0-1 record and locked up the 3rd seed, you definitely deserve team shaved ice!

So proud of this guy! Carson has been a long long time Ripper and was a big contributor to Jesuit’s current 3 peat run as OHSLA State Champs! Genuinely one of nicest guys on the field, insanely quick hands and domination at the face-off X and a naturally great human. So proud of his acceptance to Purdue and excited to see the massive impact he is going to make over there. Proud of you Carson!

It’s that time of year!! LaxNW Men’s League Draft night! Seal Team Stix, Robbi Rangers, Trees, and Lax-ellent ready to roll into the summer season!

With the 2024 Spring season coming to an end, we wanted to make sure that the 47 Rippers that received OHSLA Honors got all the love! Proud of these guys and the hard work they have put in both on and off the field!

We LOVE seeing our guys getting out and competing and we also love when the boys come out and support each other! Hell of a game last night between Wilsonville and Thurston! All 5 of these Rippers playing lacrosse at the collegiate level next year!!

Rippers summer season is right around the corner and wanted to give some more love to our boys as they finish out their spring season!!!
