We are inviting you to participate in our project that combines environmental studies, art, and education. By creating free, public art created from trash we hope to spread awareness about the excessive amount of waste that our campus and community produces. We are collaborating with the Office of Sustainability at Vassar to collect trash and exhibit the installation.
Through the month of March, we will be collecting trash from our campus. Please donate your trash to us at one of our three deposit sites. (See next post for more details.)
We will be hosting four workshops in which we will build letters and a canopy from the trash we receive. Stay tuned on the dates of those campus workshops.
On April 22nd, Earth Day, we will be have the opening reception for our installation in the Collabortory!
Please reach out if you'd like to get involved!
