Last Wednesday, our Class 36 interns got the chance to network and connect with our guests who will provide employment and higher education opportunities to pursue once they graduate from the program!

Yesterday was an unforgettable day with passionate young adults ready to start their Year Up!

We hosted our Bring Your Friend/Day in the Life event where attendees had the opportunity to shadow classes, learn about our program, complete their applications, and interview!

We can't wait to see them join the Year Up community and start their career journey!

This week’s Staff Spotlight is Leigh Mclaren, Associate Director of Admissions for Year Up New England.

Leigh has been with Year Up for about two years. Her favorite part of working with the program is seeing the students we enroll coming into orientation week and being excited about learning more about the program.

“The coolest thing about being part of a Learning Community is getting to see how much the students change and grow professionally and personally throughout Learning and Development into their Internship. Seeing them getting excited about the wins, understand the losses, and really look at their skillset and apply that to the real world.”
