Happy New Year from all of us at St. Francis House!
As 2023 comes to an end, St. Francis House would like to humbly thank our kind and generous community for opening their hearts and helping those in need.
In 2023, we had almost 10,000 visits to the clothing bank. Because of YOU, we gave our neighbors in need over 230,000 items from the clothing bank and over 46,000 items from our food pantry and saw 29 of our clients go from unhoused to housed in 2023! During back-to-school, 1,014 kiddos received back-to-school clothing, coats and supplies.
Christmas 2023 saw 78 families adopted by local businesses, organizations and families along with the St. Francis House Christmas Corner over 1,300 children received new presents for Christmas.
All of this happened because YOU chose to help your neighbors either by donating items for the clothing bank or the Nook through the donation center, food for the Emergency Food Pantry, donations of services and through partnerships, donating dollars, shopping at The NOOK or donating your time as a volunteer.
We couldn't do what we do without all these parts working together. So again, THANK YOU and may you be blessed in the New Year! π
