Aaaaand it’s Madi’s turn!!!

Madi has accepted a massage therapy position at Meridian Medical Massage starting November 1st!

Her deep tissue and treatment skills will be an amazing asset to her new team 🥰

With only six days until our closing date, we wanted to thank everyone for their continued support. All of the heartfelt wishes have made this a little easier 🩷

At this point, most of our staff have accepted new positions in the area but will be here with us until our closing date. Our spirits are high and positive!!

Our beautiful Ceara (pronounced see-ruh, like searing a steak as she’d say- don’t forget it!) will be relocating to Bella Terra Spa & Wellness starting October 24th!!

We are so excited for her to bring her goofy personality and magical massage talent to this new location. Set up an appointment with her today!!

This beautiful being of a person, Bree, just accepted a job offer at Massage Me LLC! She will start there on October 18th!

If you’ve ever had a massage from Bree then you are familiar with the alternate universe her massages put you in. Massage Me LLC is very lucky to have this gem!! 🫶🏼

Our current owner, Melissa, will be moving over to be the first massage therapist for True Health Chiropractic starting October 28th!

As tough as this decision has been, it has been an honor to watch all our current employees begin to find their new homes, and are excited to see them grow and bless their new employers!!

Our amazing and long term massage therapist, Ambur, has made the decision to take a break from massage therapy during this transitional season ☺️ her talent and love of healing will be missed in the massage community but we know she will thrive wherever she lands.

She will still be with us at STM until October 17th!

Our lovely and beautiful Alexus will actually be joining Kathy at Frink Family Chiropractic and Massage starting October 21st!

It makes me so happy to see our therapists thriving and moving on together ☺️ Frink sure is lucky to snag these two gems!!!

We are happy to share that our very own Kathy has accepted a massage therapy position at Frink Family Chiropractic and Massage in Spanaway! She will be starting there on Saturday October 19th ☺️

It is with the heaviest heart to have made the decision to close Southsound Treatment Massage, PLLC permanently. Unfortunately the economy has not been kind to our small business and we have sustained for as long as we could.

This may come to a surprise to most and please let me tell you how utterly difficult and heartbreaking this has been for me. STM has been in business since 1994 serving the greater Puyallup and South Hill area, and watching it grow the last 14 years I have been part of it (and the last 12 years of owning it) has been so refreshing and humbling.

And we couldn’t have done it without you.

We are so thankful you chose our massage therapy office for your care, and we will never forget you. Our patients are our backbone, and the reason we love the healing profession.

Our last day in business will be Thursday October 17th 2024, with an open house sale Saturday October 19th and Sunday October 20th from 9:00am to 4:00pm each day. We will hold an official closing ceremony the following week (date to be determined) if you’d wish to stop by to say any goodbyes to our amazing staff and help us close out the amazing space that has served us for so long, and bless it for the next tenants. Any appointments currently scheduled after October 17th will be cancelled.

Our therapists will have job opportunities lined up for them and we will post on our website where the landing place is for each of our staff as we are informed.

I’m not sure I have the words to express how torn up I am about this decision, and I wish the world we lived in would allow us to remain open for you, but I promise as difficult as this is, there are beautiful new journeys ahead.

We are looking for book donations to get our little library started. If you are interested in donating, we’d love for you to bring in any books that you’d like to share, ranging from kids books to adults!
