Henry Ford because his history inspired me alot and shows me that is possible even when you start from zero.

Being able to learn more every day, since I started at DISH 3 years ago it’s been an amazing journey of learning and executing more complex events every time.

My first wedding in the Hamptons, was a great event that really enjoyed and learned a lot.

🍽️ What’s Your Signature Dish and What’s the Story Behind It?

I dont think that I have a signature dish but every time that I make Colombian empanadas it brings me back to my roots. I still make them with my dad once in a while!

This is the only way we want to enjoy caprese, and such a fun touch for your upcoming holiday party 🍅 🍃 🎄

🍽️ What do you love about working at DISH?

I love being at the events! I get to witness some of the most important moments in peoples’ lives, and be a small part of what makes their celebrations special, fun, interesting, etc. Even our corporate events get me into some amazing venues where I get a different view of NYC, and I always remember how cool it is to live here.

🍽️ Can You Share a Memorable Event You Worked On and What Made It Special?

I worked with a couple named Moriba & Kardell, and they were literally iconic. Seriously, their wedding photos could be on the cover of Vogue. It was a special wedding because you could feel how darn excited they were to have found each other and have this stylish, personalized, intentional, joyous wedding. During dinner, the Mariah Carey song “We Belong Together” came on, and it became a huge sing-a-long with every guest belting it out from their seats, a la My Best Friend’s Wedding. Also their officiant was the same person who officiated my wedding, so I got to reconnect with her!

My husband and I love trying new recipes from the New York Times, Bon Appetit, etc, whenever we feel like our kitchen repertoire is getting a little stale. One summer, I made this creamy zucchini pasta recipe that changed my whole relationship with summer squash, lemme tell you. It’s so easy and delicious, and if you add some shrimp or chicken sausage, it is even better. I gave this recipe to Clark in the office, and he is now also obsessed! Maybe not my signature dish, but I love making it for friends and family.

On the weekends, you can usually find me at a Renaissance Faire.

🍽️ If you could cater any event for anyone who would it be?

Henry the Eighth of England. That man liked to eat and his kitchens were world renowned. It would have been wild to cater an event for his court.

🍽️ What do you love about working at DISH?

The people really make the place for me. Core values are something that I take to heart in both my personal and professional life. Seeing everyone come together to create exceptional moments, while also having a very human element to hospitality coupled with pristine ex*****on is.. *chefs kiss*. I appreciate the teams and what every individual brings to the table.

🍽️ Tell us about a memorable event you worked on

Our most recent event managing the GovBall VIP Cabanas was a very memorable experience. Working on an event that large with so many moving parts was humbling, exciting, and a very cool opportunity.

🍽️ What’s your signature dish?

My momma’s chicken devan. It’s a chicken and broccoli casserole dish that was passed down from her mother. Nothing in the world can make me feel more at home than that first bite.

Thrilled to share that we’re now a preferred caterer at , New York City’s premier event space in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

Each space was designed with a range of production needs in mind, resulting in a series of inviting spaces that collectively reimagine the building’s rich history.

Grand Hall
The 22,517-square-foot, column-free Grand Hall can accommodate up to 1,200 people for concerts, film premieres, theatrical performances, and exhibitions to photo or film shoots, brand activations, industry conventions and conferences, fashion shows, galas, pop-ups, art fairs, and more.

The Loft
A 6,000-square-foot flexible space located adjacent to the Grand Hall and able to accommodate 295 people, The Loft is ideal for smaller events such as pop ups, fashion shows, product launches, conferences, intimate dinners, cocktail parties, live music, and art exhibitions. It also acts as ancillary space for activity in the Grand Hall.

Small Hall
The 2,400-square-foot Small Hall can host events such as film screenings, literary talks and panel discussions, art exhibitions, small meetings, and community events. The Small Hall can also act as a back- of-house space for the Grand Hall, or events in The Loft.
