I apologize I have not done this sooner as we just got done with a very busy weekend.

Thank you to the 19 amazing donors that supported our auction rescue this weekend. Because of you, we were able to fill our trailer and save 6 lives from further termoil in the slaughter pipeline.

Even with serious competition from a kill buyer and trader from two USDA registered Kill Lots, we made out with 6 animals, 1 being the most critical at auction.

With this being said, can I get 25 more supporters to donate $10 towards today's vet visit?

We won't be able to go back to auction for at least a month, if not longer but we still have many owner surrender requests we are processing, as well as our community needs programs where we donate hay and medical to community members in need.

Come celebrate Christmas tonight with Friends at The Tattler, upstairs at the Speakeasy Coffeehouse in Quitman! The event runs from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There will be live music and no cover charge. Donations will benefit the Blue Santa Program.

Thanks so much to our volunteers who came out to help us prepare our food boxes this morning! A special thank you to Wood County Electric Cooperative and Origins Bank for allowing their employees to volunteer in the community during their work day!

We had such an efficient group we completed our boxes! We will still need a few volunteers tomorrow evening to unload boxes of dry beans and distribute those into the food boxes. The work time is currently set from 5-7, but will most likely take only a half hour to complete.
