Bilateral Lower Blepharoplasty

Notice the under eye puffiness. This is due to orbital fat protruding and is a common concern for many. This patient underwent transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty (scarless approach through the inside of the eyelid) to address the mounds of fat. After surgery, the under eye area has a smooth contour and a natural and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Bilateral Lower Blepharoplasty

Notice the puffiness of each lower eyelid. This is due to orbital fat protruding and is a common concern for many patients. While some patients are born with puffy lower eyelids, this is a problem that more commonly develops over time. This patient underwent transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty (scarless approach through the inside of the eyelid) to address the puffiness. After surgery, the puffy areas are no longer visible and the patient has a natural and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

We've made an amazing addition to the Raleigh Eye and Face team! Meet Shayla LeBlanc. She's an ophthalmic technician who takes great care of our patients and helps the office run smoothly.

Shayla is a recent graduate of Harvard University. There, she concentrated in Neuroscience with a secondary focus in African American Studies. Shayla is from Southern Louisiana and will happily talk about her love for her hometown and her favorite foods. In her free time, she likes to write short stories and paint with older siblings.

To enhance symmetry, this patient underwent:
1) Right upper blepharoplasty to remove heavy skin and reform the eyelid crease
2) Right internal ptosis repair to elevate the right upper eyelid
3) Right Botox brow lift
4) Botox treatment to lower the right lower eyelid
5) This patient also had general facial Botox treatment to reduce wrinkles (notice the improvement in the forehead lines)

Reconstruction after Mohs micrographic surgery for basal cell carcinoma by

This patient underwent tear trough filler injections. The treatment enhanced the transitions from her lower eyelids to her cheeks which resulted in improvement in hollows and dark circles. She is shown two weeks after the injections.

Enhance - a boutique style specialty practice. This patient underwent lip augmentation and contouring with 1 cc of Juvederm Ultra Plus. Results are shown 2 weeks post procedure.
