Official page for North Carolina Land and Water Fund (NCLWF). Established in 1996 as the Clean Water
June 1 is National Trails Day and new trails are officially opening at Eno River Association's Confluence Natural Area!
In 2007 NC Land and Water Fund provided a grant to help purchase a beautiful track of land called the Confluence Natural Area at the confluence of the East and West Forks of the Eno River in Orange County.
Under Eno River Association's ownership and care, the property has had over two miles of trails open for public hiking for many years. Now, Eno River has announced it will open an additional two miles of hiking trails on National Trails Day!
Located just north of Hillsborough, this is a real gem in the Piedmont region, with an amazing meadow, a pollinator garden, remnants of a former mill, and now over four miles of trails along and across the Forks that form the Eno River.
Go check it out at the Grand Opening on June 1!!
