The New Homes Program, which helped low-income home buyers with down payments, became the New Home Loan Pool (NHLP) from 2003 to 2012.

Participating organizations received small grants to build new homes and could access more funds if they finished early.

The NC Recovery Housing Program (RHP) has a second round of funding available to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders with stable, transitional housing while on a path to self-sufficiency. Applications open on August 1, 2024.

In 2003, The Agency deployed the Individual Development Account Loan Pool, which financed subordinate mortgages for down payment assistance to supplement the savings of individuals who were involved in the IDA savings programs funded by federal government and the NC Department of Labor.

On Friday, July 19th, the Agency joined in celebrating the grand opening of Eastport II with a ribbon cutting in Beaufort. These 48 apartments will provide families with safe, affordable and decent homes.
