Many people think exposure therapy is the only option for folks with ARFID. However, it is totally okay if you have ARFID and are not interested in doing exposures to new foods. You deserve nutritional support that works with your preferences around food, not against them. Some other goals in treatment could include support meeting your nutritional needs with your safe foods, creating safety around food and eating, and building comfortability asking for accommodations around food.
