Today was the 2024 Summer Celebration on the Reading Area Community College (RACC) campus! Students, faculty and staff enjoyed plenty of food, co****le, Jenga, and Wii. Plus, giveaways and lots of great music.

Reading Area Community College (RACC) had four presenters at this year's annual Beacon Conference held at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY on June 7. RACC student Joshuah Creswell won the top prize in the history paper panel for his paper, "Boarded Shipped, and Sold: Indentured Servitude as Temporary Slavery."

Students from over 15 northeast community colleges submitted research papers in 16 categories. The authors of the top four papers were invited to present at the conference. Presentations were judged by four-year college faculty and industry professionals

The Reading Area Community College (RACC) KEYS Program held their annual Graduation and End-of-Spring Celebration on Wednesday. This event marks graduations, the end of the spring semester and celebrates our student’s academic success with awards, food, gifts and music. We proudly graduated 21 Career Training, 16 associate’s degree and 8 GED graduates. Good luck to our 2024 graduates!

On Monday, May 20, Reading Area Community College (RACC) held our 37th Annual Golf Tournament at The Berkshire Country Club. Yesterday, we welcomed U.S. Representative Chrissy Houlahan to the Reading Area Community College (RACC) campus. Representative Houlahan got a first-hand look at how more than a million dollars that she helped secure is being used to enhance the Schmidt Training and Technology Center and Kratz Hall.
