March is a month where we honor the achievements and history of women and their contributions to our lives. Unlike the internationally recognized International Women's Day, the United States devotes an entire month to recognize the leadership, courage, and strength of women of the past, present, and future of America. It was signed into law in 1987 where March was designated Women's History Month.

Well keeping two resolutions out of four isn't too bad...

Happy Passover!

Passover is a seven-day holiday in the Jewish faith that honors the freeing of the Israeli slaves. It started last evening and will go on until this Thursday evening. At the end of Passover many celebrate by drinking red wine and breaking bread amongst friends and family.

Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam which asks all Muslims, who are physically able, to abstain from food and drink from dawn to dusk every day this month for the purpose of spiritual renewal.
